No you don't mix yokes, you use the SRAD ones. I think you use SRAD spindle too.

Yes it's not a direct fit for whole front, you need to mix and match a bit. SRAD front is easiest, bolts straight on with just a different bearing and everything except speedo works as standard.

It will if you have a light off, it will dent the tank.

And really hurt if you have a bit of a wobble.

Try there, although I did have a problem with the magnet spacing. I changed the sensor for a smaller one, but the mounting location was the same.

By magnet spacing what I really mean is that my sensor was too close to the magnets causing erratic readings at low speed and a large over-read at higher speeds. A smaller sensor meant that I could increase the sensor-magnet gap so that it worked.

That avatar still makes gixxer front end threads far more interesting.

I am going to copy your setup. Can you point me to the right sensor and magnets, and where you got them, (i think you got the magnets from ebay).
Thanks
Mike

You should see the rest...

Anyway, back on topic... ( )

SENSOR - Hamlin 55100-3H-02-A

The sensor I used was one of these:

http://uk.farnell.com/hamlin-electro...nge/dp/5052567

The xx-xx-x part of the ident number defines the wire terminations and length, and the activation range. The datasheet .pdf on the farnell website gives the details.

MAGNETS - Neodynium discs

From here:

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/PowerMagnetStore

The size will depend on how you are going to fix them to your discs. I used disc magnets about 8mm diameter and 3mm thick. I used araldite to glue a small nut one side, then glued the nut into the disc rivet. You can get them with countersunk holes predrilled too

MAKE SURE YOU GET THE MAGNETS THE RIGHT WAY ROUND!

I needed eight, but you might need four - you will need to have a scan through a curvy conversion thread to confirm how many you need.

4 on the curvy, you can get drilled ones and bolt them straight into the rivets.

Here's a wierd phenomenon... warped discs caused the reading to fluctuate at 100+mph.

Where's rest of pics then?
