It's easy to be teetotal...............just find something more important to you than alcohol to spend your money on

After battling against regular excessive alcohol consumption (I wasn't what you'd class as alcoholic) in my past I am now pretty much teetotal. I very rarely drink, but when I do it does tend to get me slaughtered very quickly. The after-effects are enough to keep me from doing it on a regular basis.
If I remember correctly, the last time I had a drink was in September - before that it was in January. |

ive not had a good drink since AR06. was a bit poorly. having to stop at services on way home for irn bru and paracetemol. Im rubbish at drinking and probably wont bother doing it again

I'm normally ok with the day after and that, just i get disrupted sleep for about a week and memory goes to pot, but thats only when i get hammerd
i barely remember the ride home from AR08, or most of the week end, why does it destroy your memory of the parts before you where drunk? |

i wouldn't say i'm t-total, but i verrrrrry rarely drink. mabee 2-3 times a year. and i don't get plastered... i can only drink 1 drink and that's bacardi if i drink anything else i get far to drunk...

Drink is bad, but I'm out in worcester at the weekend and Probably only have a social one or two. Not like "that" night in worcester. That was a rare night, firstly beacuse I got a round in! haha.
As long as people drink in moderation and know there limits its a-o-kay with me. |

Not T total but I drink very little these days.As you get older I find you weigh up the costs against the benefits more,and its a no brainer really.
