Not without upgrading the forks first, especially if you haven't lowered the rear!

im going to lower my rear by 30mm, so do i need to lower forks ?

Yes, otherwise all the weight will be on the back end and the weight distribution will be terrible and the bike will handle terribly too. Drop the forks by 6mm at first, with the rear lowered by 30mm, and let me know how you get on.

well what a **** up that was!!!!!! i made up bars with a 165 centre and it drop bike by 60mm yes 60mm now bearing in mind on some of the info on hear was stated 170 would give 40mm drop, i was going for 30 to 33 mm at 165, so can anyone give me the CORRECT die for 30mm thxs
