it all seems dry? and my re-circulate is a button not a slide so dunno if it would work when ignition is switched off.

Set to re-circulate before you turn off the ignition, then when the ignition is off, the vents will already be set.

Maybe Ford have a patent on it 'cause the only other cars I've seen them on are Jags & Land Rovers (used to be owned by Ford)

s'right, Ford do have the patent on the heated windscreens. great move by them but makes the rest of us freeze our nuts off.
