How about taking a little jar of diesel out with you and if one (push bike) comes your way pour some on the path. He/she will fly comically into the nearest thorn and nettle bushes and you can blame it on truck drivers who don’t look after there lorries.

They will then set up another committee dedicated to removing diesel spills from our roads and you have a little storey that brings a smile every now and then.

I consider it my civic duty to ensure that any cyclist from the age of 12ish upwards riding on the pavemment will end up falling off. Whether this is by simply barging them off, or kicking their front wheel as they go by is irrelevant, it's fun to watch either way

What hacks me off even more is cyclists using the road when I'm driving, when there is a designated cycle lane for them. Those are the ones who more often than not get clipped by my door mirror as I pass

Thing with UK "Designated cycle" lanes is the majority of them are crap. There's the "shared" bit at the side of the pavement that everyone walks in, or you're giving way to every BLdy, driveway, side street, bus stop, lamppost etc, there's the ones in the gutter that everybody parks in, & then there's the ones that dump you in the pit of Hell. If you weren't in the cycle lane you could have gone round the traffic light regulated roundabout but no - we're going to direct you to cross three lanes of fast moving traffic on a blind bend.

Rant over.
