Aye, but you can fail, (i think), if you are not deemed to be safe riding on the roads..

Depends how good your instructor is You can certainly waste a lot of money by not getting it...

Maybe I've read that wrong but to me biking isn't exactly something someone should be persuaded into doing, should be their own choice?

But riding pillion with us is such a thrill its hard to get rid otherwise...

Ye you can defo fail if your instructor thinks that your not capable of controlling the bike, they won't even take you out on the road.

Well, you can fail, I did, THREE times. Whether or not you call it failing, it felt like failing to me. I wasn't confident enough, but after more training was fine.

I passed my test first time tho!

i would love Shell to get a little bike, it's the reason she got her provsional years ago! she loves being on the back and i think the CBT would and could help pillions.
only had my bike since last august, she had never been on a bike until then! loves it.

By that do you mean the CBT should improve how the pillion acts on the back? Wouldn't be much point in her getting a CBT if she doesn't plan to ride?
