nope nope nopey nope apparently you don't even need the certificate. the only way you'd know my bike was restricted is that you can only pull the throttle back about a centimetre (and it goes about 2mph top speed)

Oh well, I think I'm just being paranoid really as the dealership where I bought it sold it new to the one previous owner, I think they would've mentioned it.

The reason for it not going over yhe 100 mark was most likely me being a pussy!

Ill beast it a bit at the weekend

Oh aye. Joking aside though, if I'm working on the basis that a restricted bike won't pull any more abouve 8000 revs, I don't need to be speeding to carry out the aforementioned "beast test", right?

I didnt know it was illegal to post on a forum that youve commited a traffic offence? whos to say you arnt just lieing because you think its making you look cool? not illegal to lie either (unless under oath, maybe under caution but i think you can still lie and they just dont like it, but not illegal as such, cant exactly remember)

anyway, its not like youre putting a video on youtube showing who are you then you commiting an offence, which would be daft.

That's right. Unless there's something wrong with the bike in de-restricted form.
If you have a look under the carbs you won't have to even start the bike
