I think that depends on how new the rear tyre is and how far you lean over when it has just started raining. Oh, and too much right wrist too soon out of the bend........

High sides are bad, always alow a few miles for tyre to warm up... If I dont I can get 4th gear wheel spin when the roads are a little greasy
