Cool, Insa Turbo Traction Trac... yep a BFG Trac-Edge copy. A good tread pattern for a mixture of mud/tarmac. My mate just got some Insa Turbo Sahara's, look the danglies on his Navarra. I have General Grabber AT2s....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Keep on laughing guys, while you were all at work, I was on a hil, on three wheels having the time of my life!!!

Love it. Went up a good steep hill, nothing near as serious as I have done before, got to the top and bottled it because we were on our own. Unfortunately, with loose top soil, the front end slid down to the left as I was backing up and went right into a rut. Pics will be posted tomorrow.

Trust me guys, you'll be impressed. Waved down a nice young lad and his Mrs in an old L200 and hooked up my tow rope and it was only a few inches and we had traction back!

I have to say, it was great fun.......when you're in a Landie, it's not fun unless you get stuck and have to try and get yourself out.

Mike, the Insa Turbos are fab....lots of road noise as expected, but great traction. Just a shame we didn't have anyone else with us. The guy that towed us had got stuck on his own two weeks ago and had to wait 3 hours for a defender to go past before he could get towed out!

So.........I've had a fab day and to top it all of in the most excellent way.....Stretchie was organsing a Freelander to come and tow us out and he was so excited about me, the landie snob having to be towed by a lowly Freelander....but I managed to foil his cunning plan of embarrasment and get someone else to tow me instead!!!

I love getting stuck!!!!!

Yeah....logical reason was....I should have kept going and the momentum would have got us right through it, but I stopped, not wanting to scare the pants of Saxo and get us stuck further in and so.......down the hill we went!

Still, we went off down another little track, he gave the dogs a walk while I was flashing passers by for a tow and all is good now.....about to eat a giant beef brisket that's been in a low oven since 7pm yesterday with all the usual BBQ stuff.

My lowly freelander was towing loads of stuff out of the snow as I had my site wheels on with off road tyres,
Have got some pics of me doing it with the KTM on the rack too

Might only be a soft roader...but its better than most in the snow and cack!!
