We want to get away with the kids in easter for but not sure if I can face the traffic or airports at this time. Looks like another stay home easter break.

If you can't get away on holiday riding the bike must be the next best thing

Shame you're not taking the bike to Spain. I have fantastic memories of us riding down through France and Andorra to Barcelona.

Did the MCN Skeggy thing a couple of times, but once they dropped the free track time at Cadwell we stopped going.

I don't think I could face the airport/crowds/traffic thing myself. I dislike crowded places more and more every year!

We haven't had a 'proper' biking holiday abroad since 2007, and with the pants exchange rate at the moment we won't be getting one this year. We'll just have to have a lot more weekends away to make up for it.

Not too sure where, it would be just after Johns birthday - anywhere nice and sunny and relaxed...any suggestions? I dont really fancy Spain/Greece or the usual Places.
We've seen some places in the Maldives that look fantastic! But its just so expensive

As for airports, i hate that part tooo..Try to go Off peak when kids are in schools etc!

To be honest the only foreign non-biking holidays I've had are taking the kids to Fuerteventura, and taking my daughter to Kenya when she was 13. We had a combined beach/safari holiday which was fantastic. It wasn't cheap, but as it was all inclusive we needed very little spending money

As I don't really do the beach thing I wouldn't know where to suggest, but I'm sure there are others who will have great suggestions!

Well we would, but us kids(and my mum) have clubbed together to buy him a British Blue Kitten. He lost his old lady cat at xmas and he kinda misses her (even though he pretends he doesn't)
I'm waiting for an email from the breeder with pics of the kitty we chose for him, at four weeks old so we can put it in a birthday card.

He hasn't a clue that we've been on nights out to go chat to the lady who has them, he thinks we've been arranging a party (he hates parties) its a surprise
Thing is with that is, we arranged to sort it on the weekend they go away

hes not getting it until May! Can't wait to pick it up.
