2000, and it was a 1050 not a 675. I did sit on Girths street though briefly, and its a bit smaller - if you're taller, the 1050 might be the better upward trade.
On similar grounds though, the street is only realistically available as a new bike, so I wouldn't do it any other way than comp on the insurance. |

Glad you are happy with the bike. Once you ride one you have to get one.

Generally, i think triumph engines are quite good. The service intervals are pretty good, the valve check is at 12,000 miles on many of their engines which is a bit sooner than many other manufactures, but its in no way a bad thing ![]() |

Get the 675, all the street triple is good for is wheelies and farting around! And.. The suspension is pants. However rictus has said all that needed to be.. Best advice in the thread, and I wouldn't insure anything tpft it's all good untill you bin it because your not used to the power or something

I did loads of research into the 675 engine "problems" before buying back in March and tbh they're most often reported by non-owners through rumour and hearsay, some owners had a bit of oil usage and a couple had catastrophic failure like orose there, but overall there's no reason not to choose a triumph because of any problems you might have heard about ![]()
