SV650.org - SV650 & Gladius 650 Forum

Idle Banter For non SV and non bike related chat (and the odd bit of humour - but if any post isn't suitable it'll get deleted real quick).
There's also a "U" rating so please respect this. Newbies can also say "hello" here too.

Thing is, part of the forum is that you have to click into the thread to see what its about and how the conversation is going, if in order to join in you read a few pages and then find that the threads been derailed, you click out of the thread and then go into another thread and find thats been derailed and then you go through 4 or 5 threads and find that they've been derailed in the same way by the same group of people, its bl**dy irritating, that builds and build over time to the point where you dont bother to login anymore... if we let that continue the majority of users may end up feeling like that and then your forum dies...

Blatant de-rails can be annoying if it doesn`t bring anything to the thread , but some threads have a small de-rail which shows the character of the people on the Org and a bit of Mickey taking , I like that sort of thing as I am here for the people and the Info that can be gleaned . Lately I have found myself providing the info and it`s nice when you can answer a thread and it practically closes itself as a solved problem . Some peoples threads I just don`t bother with full stop anymore . I see their names as the topic starter and just think "Sausage-Fest" and skip them ...... that`s what I like about this place , you can sniff about in the undergrowth for good info , help others , ask for help or just chill and read stuff ........ And , without a shadow of a doubt , I have had some truly Laugh out Loud moments from some offhand comments in some of these threads
