Im sat here gutted, had to let my ticket go for this year as i was made redundant in march and now cant afford beer and guest house so one of me mates took me place and they just rang from the ferry................................

Still was over there 6 weeks ago and it only cost £78 for me and the bike cost £85 just to go as a foot passanger for the TT!

I've almost given up trying to get accomodation - every one seems to have rolling bookings - well pulling my hair out
cost this year for bike rider and pillon was £270 so its is not cheap ( that the same price for my week at the NW inc ferries)

Glenn Wyllin campsite is my favourite, try giving them a ring guys really don't know if they're full or not yet for tt 2010 but post on here if you find out. Cheers Matt. Otherwise your all looking at homestay, and yes once we know who is going we definetly need a meet day.

Just got back from this years TT - we stayed at Cronk Dhoo campsite and used www.iomtents.com for our camping equipment. Only problem with that was they pitched the tents about 15 feet from the road - 4:30am people started lapping - not funny!

It was £20 deposit for a place on the ferry with the balance paid by the end of Feb. Total cost was £200 - if memory serves we paid £160 in 2006.

A lot of the hotels are already booked up until 2013, I ve already tried, may have an alternative form of transport next year though, friend of mine runs this http://www.helicopterflightsnorthwest.co.uk/ might advertise this nearer the time, see if anyone fancies a day trip.
