Any fuel going into a hot cat will be er catalysed and burn. Prolonged rich running can damage cat.

But, it's not emissions tested, so who gives a flying one.

Moral of the story, avoid overcomplicated h*ndas with overcomplicated EFI.

Defo sure its the alarm and not the HISS?

Depends who's fitted the alarm. I had a meta system on the SV when I bought it, it didn't last long. Whoever fitted it managed to do a worse job than suzuki did of the stock wiring.

Especially as neither of them are actually a problem with the bike, the first appears to be fuel, now sorted with a good helping of Vpower.

The second is down to the after-market alarm I had fitted, that's not back to Honda though seperate company!

Mrs.H was so worried about the alarm one she agreed to me having a brand new Gixer on 0%, not too sure I can justify it to myself though.
