I thought if they'd been bought as a pet, they wouldn't recognise his pedigree if he was put to stud. At least, that's what we were told when we bought a pedigree

I've never had a pedigree kitten with paperwork before TBH so I really don't have a clue. The breeder was good to point out that we had to send off the pink slip and re-register him to us, for the purpose of if we ever wanted to show him. We also have a family tree of the last five lines, so we know what hes been bred from too.
As i said, its unlikely he'll be used for either, as hes a pet...a very cute one at that

While its all well and good to go down the pedigree route (and Harry IS gorgeous) especially if you want a specific colour/breed, dont forget your local Animal Rescue centre.

It just happens that ours is Battersea Dogs Home (and Cats) and for £60 you can rehome a cat which they have chipped, spayed and had a vet give a good going over.

Couldn't agree more! We got our puss from a local shelter for £40 and they always have loads to choose from. I wanted to take them all home though! Too soft, me

Dizzy - that kitten is utterly gorgeous and I want him
