Why would a black exhaust look bad?
I have a black frame + swing arm, and will have the silver its powdercoated black..

See how it turns out

BBQ paint is good, as is PJ1 high temp paint. Used it on loads of 2t exhausts. Can will be fine with it.

Used high temp paint on my old '2t', as you say, exhaust, did a few coats, but began to flake in the outlet port thingy, so thought I should get it done more professionally this time..

BBQ paint works, was a recommendation when Carnivore sprayed his old RD350LC. Only thing is, don't hang them on your mothers washing line when she has white washing on it....especially on a draughty day

black frame, black swingarm silver can.

As already said, it would look cack painted.
The other halfs dad does powder coating on his rally cars, things like roll cages are ok, but anything that could get hit by stones etc look rubbish really quickly.
Powder coating is not as hard as you may think and cant be touched up as easily as a paint finish either.
