Back home in Devon, we used to head over to Ilfracombe in the storms, massive waves hitting the pier and the lightning bouncing off the cliffs...happy days

must have taken them a long time to work their way down
we had them up norf here from 10am till about 2pm with torrents of rain but at 2pm the sun came out and all is well with the world beautiful night indeed

It just rumbled a bit here, nothing much really i was looking foward to a goos storm. When I was in NY State a few years back one of mates was like....dude come out here the light is green.
The light went very green, at the point I though WTF!! Got everyone inside just before it opened up, was an awesome storm, we were in a wood built cabin that rocked in that storm. But I have seen some awesome storms when I have been in the US. |

we had a good thunderstorm today. Started hail stones..... they were the size of fookin marbles ! aint seen it like that before. lol
