Nice to read something different - and stunning pics. I just finished reading Renaulph Feinnes biog tonight and was feeling inspired - so was interesting to read about your day out too

Looks like peak hour on the trails though - Traffic everywhere even on remote mountains. Just cant escape it...

Well done mate. Being in the mountains is fantastic. I've never felt so free and alive as when I'm in the mountains. It's definately good for the body and soul. Keep it up. Nice photos by the way.

Some really good pics there Brettus, loving the panorama shots, gives the perspective of size.
Good on you for completing it

Thats the catch isn't it, when something is local it gets taken for granted or just overlooked. some nice places to walk around here but none as breathtaking as these.

Thanks, I rather like playing with panoramic shots at the moment, its my new favourite thing heh. does help convey the sheer size of the place though. Thanksfully Photoshop is ace at stitching them up too, well almost, theres a bodge on the summit panorama but I can't be bothered to re-do that one at the moment.

Even though we were knackered it was thoroughly invigorating, might have to get out and do more things like this, need to get rid of the belly heh. It's such a good feeling to turn around and see how high you have made it.

Not seen the UFO, I'm not in any of the pictures so it can't be Unfit Fat Oik

Thanks for all the comments guys, I was really pleased with the pics (and the feat!) and wanted to show them off, glad you like them Was lucky (for pictures at least, less so for the climber) that the mountain rescue were out, made for some more interesting pictures.

I want to do a coastal picture trek next and finish with some sea sunset pictures. Should get some good ones there, and would make a good ride too
