Hey I only got them as an experiment and I have other uses for them anyway. As said, this morning's ride to work - flexible sole - felt odd. Guess I'll have to fork out outrageous Sidi (or Sisi

Cant find them anwhere for less than about £225
I like them too tho :P Was between a pair of those and my Sidi Canyons a year and a bit ago - the Canyons won due to being cheaper (2/3rds the price) and Goretex...

Extremely
![]() They squeak like a bugger as well Plus they weigh ~2kg each so you'll kick your pillion seat for weeks until you lift them over every time And restrict your ankle movement to the point that you can only move your foot up and down in line with your leg by ~30 degrees each way But god-DAMN they look cool ![]() They also give considerably more protection than normal road boots, they make my Sidi Evos feel like trainers

I wouldn't recommend the Crossfires for road bikes, unless you have Tibilais Anteriors like hydraulic rams you'll never be able to change up...

I have Oxtar TCX Infinity boots. I weekday commute and weekend jolly in them, al year round. Have had them for over a year now and they don't look more than a couple of weeks old.
Have on a couple of occasions worn a sturdy pair of Aigle walking boots and felt rather unprotected. I'd strongly recommend against wearing anything other than bike boots. |

Nothing wrong with riding in doc martens, para boots etc. They're just not as protective as proper boots. I've fallen off in paras and they've got plenty abrasion resistance, but the bike landing on my foot twisted my foot a bit which probably wouldn't have been as bad with the heavily reinforced sidi vertbras or oxtar TCXs.
