there is a hole at the bottom of the engine going right threw if you have a 10mm rod you can put it threw the hole and then use axil stands to keep the front up more secure. you can either use a trolley jack or front paddock stand to lift the front of the bike first then put it on axil stands. if you dont have a 10mm rod then put axil stands under the foot peg u frames. DO NOT WORK ON THE FRONT END USING A TROLLEY JACK.

this is what i use when doing front ends.

Indy definately has a doofer thingmybob for balancing the TBs... It's mine THough you're welcome to borrow it off, er, him. Or me.

Is it valves at 15000? Can't remember. Easy enough if it is though, sounds scary but isn't. Unless you drop a bolt down the cam tunnels into the engine.

Yup... I mean, mine is on 40-odd thousand now and not a single gap out of spec, which isn't too amazing, but then it's not on the original cams either- the tolerancing's close enough that even putting in a fresh cam and moving one of the old ones everything's still bang on. The paint might be rubbish but the engine's quite well put together

Warning - lots of people have doofer thingmybobs, Husky has one and knows how to use it, but only Bibio has the required 10mm rod. It's his USP.

Sorry Cam, I seem to have completely hijacked your thread, I'm sure some nice mod person will delete all the offending posts if you ask him.

yes Bibio has a doofer thingimybobs, and knows how to use it.. .

connect hoses to vacuum points. then blank off. warm engine up then stop bike. lift tank, connect gauges, turn screw till volume is same and Bobs your auntie job done. its very very easy on a pointy. curvys are a nightmare to get at the front vacuum point and all that taking bloody air boxes off.
