Who would take a brand new 1198S on a track, as an inexperienced rider, anyways?!?!
More money than sense strikes again! VFR should have kept up with an SV650 surely.... |

VFR has 100 bhp, so should leave an SV behind with the same level of ability pilots.

If he took me out like that on a trackday I'd be chasing him through the courts if he didn't offer to put the damage right.
Tell your mate to chill out, and if he's arrogant about it ask him if he likes sex and travel. |

looks like he's loaded, 1198, Alpinestars etc, so he probably doesn't give a toss. Feel well sorry for the R1 rider, taken out by a penis that thinks he's fast.

His attitude to riding by the sounds of him got what he deserved. You don't need a fast bike to keep up, just ability imo, but then again I'm an unexperienced rider only riding since March.

I'm interested to know if anyone has actually been successful claiming off someone for a trackday incident. I know what you''re saying Hovis but I'd give it a damn good go. Every trackday I've been to they have briefed us saying it's not a race, give everyone plenty of room etc, and if I was punted off by someone through no fault of their own then fair play. However, if someone was clearly riding like a kn*b then in my eyes they have broken the rules and should be held accountable in some way......either though being banned from further trackdays with a company or being held liable for any damage caused.
It really boils my p*ss when people think they are riding gods on trackdays when they very clearly aren't. There were a few non-orgers on the recent Brands Indy trackday that fitted in this category and I did my best to stay very clear of them. |
