My swingarm bearings are 61500 miles old. I put some grease in them once, but that was it

when you taking it in? get them to check the whole bike as it seems like things are happening one after the other.

Sale of Goods--------goods must be fit for purpose,to be honored by the supplier of the goods irrelevant of the warranty period. Strikes me 4500miles and 1year+ is unfit for purpose especially if the bike has not had its first service[Correct me if I am wrong 1st service due at 6000miles]
Now if only Suzuki would invest in more than one tub of grease a year for the factory.
Couldn't we club together & send then one?

sort of like wheel bearings but they go at the frame end of your swingarm to let it move up and down, if they are not greased properly then they run dry and bugger up just like wheel bearings which gives you side to side, up and down play. even a mm or two can have dramatic effect on the handling of your bike.
