Re: Scotland
I just flashed people back, that showed em. That road requires full concentraion, espeially the full throttle overtakes in the rain. |

Re: Scotland
Now try doing the A9 south from Inverness back to Glasgow, leaving at 11pm at night, in in howling gale, and snow storms.... On an SV1000S.... that takes bottle. I was forced to stop at Perth for more fuel, and 2 coffee's just to thaw out my hands.
The trek from Perth back to Glasgow was freezing fog - at 12:30am when you're frozen to the bone already (despite heated grips, good goretex gear, etc) was NOT fun. At one point, a tesco truck passed me I was going that slow due to hypothermia, and no concentration... When I got back home, my knees were locked solid, and I had blue frozen lips. Never again will I suffer that, or leave the Highlands on a bike at 11pm. I had to be at work in Paisley for 7am to get an earlyish Edinburgh 24 pallet delivery too.... Total madness |

scotland is just amazing for bikes. I wen tup for 5 days in May it banged it down all the way there , then saturday was good on sunday which was lucky as there was 22 of us going from callander up to kyle of localsh via glenoe, the kinlochleven loop-this is a must to anyone passing by its like i miniature TT experince is best way i could probably describe it i wanted to go and do it again after doing it for first time. Onto Fort william then onto kyle of localse. It then rained mon and then the tuesday on my way home. Loved everyminute though definately recommend it.

Re: Scotland
I wasn't proper cold but my lass did say she was (scouser). I realised when I got back though that my nether regions were completely soaked through due to a breach in my waterproofs. I had to use my heated grips for a bit too i'm ashamed to say
