I walked in to Currys, went up to an assistant and said "Sell me a table top dishwasher"

"Kenwood?", he said.

"Fine" I replied, "Where's Ken?".

Well not quite. Its only taken me 5 months to find, but I got it on eBay for £30. I now have a Kenwood KDW4TTSL Table Top Dishwasher, to stick engines in.

Anyone got a manual for it?

Don't forget to remove the salt from it (or just don't refill it).

Yep. I going to use a salt free washer tablety thing if one exists, not add any salt to the machine in the salty thingy bit. Do one cycle with the washer tablet, one cycle of plain water, and then a wipe over with a WD40ed rag on exposed metals.

I hate dish washers with a passion, if you wash anything greasy in them it leaves invisible grease residue on everything, then when you poor say a glass of milk you can immediately tell if the glass has been hand washed or been in the dish washer, because theres a grease smell as you drink. I seem to be the only one that notices the smell, drives me round the bend, its not like they use cheapo tablets either.

I now have a dedicated cup and plate, which is not allowed in the dish washer lol.

I can thing of 5 various makes and models of dishwasher at different peoples houses i know that i have had a drink and its the same. Please tell me someone else notices this lol.

...............................................ran t over lol.

The house I’m in doesn’t have one and I think plumbing one out to the garage might be a bit of a step too far. So I stumbled across this idea. Keep it in the garage when it’s not needed and just bring it in to the kitchen and hook it up as required. Me and Stretchie have been talking about this for a while and as a result GruntyGiggles have band me and him from going anywhere near their dishwasher.

Should this be now moved to Bikes - Talk & Issues?

No wonder she banned you. Did she say "Gerrrrrrr out orf moi kitchen???""

On another note, I wash loads of car/bike parts in our dishwasher. It's never done it any harm. My dad and I have been doing our parts washing in the various dishwashers for years without a problem. Just don't put a cylinder head in with your dishes.
You can argue the case with Grunty then...

I'm just going to wait til she goes out somewhere for a couple hours when I need something doign and bung it in then ; )

Nope, I've been anti dishwasher for years until I moved into the current house, never truseted them, maybe they are all using crap tablets? Maybe run out of salt, I didn't put any salt in ours as I thought it was all in tablets and it went this way and then ended up leaving a white film everywhere on all the things being washed and the maching itself, bought a bag of salt for it and all went back to normal
