When I bought my SV it had LED indicators on the back. My mate rode it home for me and I realised they were utterly useless. So I fitted a couple of regular bulb indicators from ebay. Much brighter and actually visible in daylight, unlike the LEDs.

Dave I would not normally disagree with you, but if that is a Motrax Universal 'Rsend', avoid like the plague! I have had 2 of them fail on me whilst riding and have been lucky the indicators were there as the wires were the only things that kept me from losing my plate entirely and/or it getting jammed in my back wheel.

In both cases, the metal failed at either end of the slot that the number plate bolts through. I have some photos on my mobile from last time it happened that I can post when I get home...

i agree they are poo-stanky, but i only used the two indicator parts, large washers and bolted those via a piece of metal to my evotech tail-tidy. i had no strength issues that way

But that would not be an issue, re-read my post. I advised to attach this at the bottom of the number plate to hold the indicators on, it would not be required to hold the numberplate on (which we all know it is not capable of doing as it is made by Motrax).
