Default Re: Warning!

It wasn't a proper GM rideout - I'm a Soho bod most of the time.

But perfect weather and lots of quiet little lanes which made for a very pleasant morning. The route went:

Aldershot ->Ewshot, then fork left onto the little lanes...

...-> Crondall -> Odiham -> South Warnborough -> Upton Grey -> Tunworth -> Junction where A339 crosses M3 -> B3046 all the way to New Alresford.

Quite a lot of the little lanes had gravel down the middle and in one left-hander it spilled right across the road. This could easily have dumped a more spirited rider in the hedge but us slow folks had plenty of time to hit the brakes and dawdle through at walking speed.

Kitkat was fine, and her noisy bike worked a treat. The only bike problem was when my immobiliser decided to lock the bike down after I switched off for a couple of kids on ponies to pass. Eventually tracked down to a flakey connection on the Keyloq reader which I'll be taking apart tonight.

Keith.

P.S. If anyone wants a detailed route listing PM me.

If your up for an afternoon ride at the weekend I would defiantly be in, work all morning which is why I never get out on the weekend!

Oh and those roads are good! Should try going from Odiham to Alton then on to Basingstoke, and if your feeling adventurous, head through to reading to Henley on Thames area, all good roads!
