You can read what is written?
Mod is simple, just chop some plastic from front of battery tray and space battery upward. It is easy mod. Then GSXR1000K5 shock fits straight in.

Where is central UK for you? Near Yorkshire, or you mean Midlands?

Correct - the battery is sealed, so splashing some water on it wont hurt the battery. But you dont want so much water in there that the battery terminals get shorted. I'd cover the terminals back to the insulation on the wire with a coat of grease or vaseline to keep them dry.

Sorry I cant help on your seat question.

For GSXR1000K5 you need to remove one of the foam bump pads on the bottom of the seat IIRC.

I wouldn't bother, the amount of material which needs cutting out isn't going to let much if any water in.

I have been running similar mod on curvy for best part of 30k miles and no problems there.

how much would it cost to have set up properly ?

whats the cheepest way to make it better ?

these are a few main things that im conserned about, i dont have the bike yet so i dont know for my self

thanks in advance
gladius dos'nt seem to bad at 100+ on b-roads ie teesdale - brough. dos'nt react on fast enough on 1" potholes 14 stone.
KAIS in atherton lancs do a simple setup starting at 40£ up to whatever you want to pay.set my rs955 spot on.

Dunno where you are mate but I just read about these fellas in suffolk who offer a ride in service and will set you up exactly for what you need:

http://www.mctsuspension.com/setup.htm

I dont think the cost is too astronomical either.

Anybody used these before?
