Shame you've asked to be removed after two people accuse you of spamming. Worse things have happened on the internet tbh and it would be a shame to not have your experience.

I'm sure you do feel that you are more than qualified to make an informed opinion but, thats all it is.

You can tell people your points and views on any subject but they will only listen if they want to.
If you want your membership to the forum deleted then that is your choice.
On the whole, this is a very friendly forum.

My advise (for what little its worth and bearing in mind whats written above), take it easy, sit back and relax.

Youll get more from the forum if you dont try to come across as overbearing and stroppy

I don't see the problem? I've googled it and can only find it replicated on one other board, a worthwhile topic IMO (for what it wurf)

Ok this might seem a little bit of a condescending post, but it certainly did not merit such a hostile response from some long time members on here. T.C. is a new guy, has introduced himself fair and square in Idle Banter, seems to be well qualified in giving advice on things, and this post was not advertising, misleading nor does it contain bad advice. So pull your claws in and be a bit nicer. Have you never posted the same thing on two forums yourself that you thought was funny or relevant?

Oh and T.C., stick around for a bit, this is very uncharacteristic of a usually welcoming forum.

T.C.s alright, not a spammer.

I thought it was you mate, I'm on the B.I.R.D. site too. You should be used to an instant de-rail from the other site, but you won't get the swearing on this one .

Welcome in mate

Most important thing I am going to say in this reply

T.C. - I hope you stick around.

With that out the way, yeah, it was just bad timing, your low post count, combined with the length of your post, which read very similar to ones I, and obviously Speedplay, have seen in email chain-spam, which we have had (admittedly rarely) on the forum before caused a reaction.

I would however counter your post by reminding you, and everyone else that apart from the mandated helmet, it is up to each of us, on each occasion we get on our bikes, what to wear.

Personally, as someone who wore made to measure 2 piece leathers on his CBT, that WILL be properly kitted up, I did my research before even booking a CBT, having spoken to friends who rode, a couple of them who, due to injury, are now unable to ride.

So, yeah, I am sorry I jumped on you, wrong place, wrong time, but end of the day, informative (although full of supposition) your post was, end of the day, its my call what I do.

Bang out of order. Is this how the site welcomes new members now? You should be ashamed of yourselves.
