Should have updated that I received my letter and refund earlier this week, £30, not a huge amount but ~10% of my premium and better in my pocket than that shifty sailor type

just renewing catherines insurance and Both Insurers have told me I need to declate my bike accident... that was this morning...

chuffed at that, don't wanna speak to soon (not asked for it in writing yet or took out the quote) but this thread could collectively save the org thousands. maybe worth a sticky.

I've had quotes off about 10 companies and so far admiral are the only ones, elephant may too as I believe they are the same company just different trading names (v possibly wrong though)

Just for completeness, Diamond also fall under the Admiral umbrella, but I don't think they quote for blokes?

Norwich union/aviva count bikes differently

Edit: a very competive quote too (despite her telling me at the start of the phonecall it'd be thousands), just weighing up whether uninsured driver losses cover is worth a couple of hundred £
