What exactly was the problem with yours mate?

Are you sure you didn't just get a dodgy set?

Stitching fell apart on the shoulders.
It may have been a dodgy set but its a case of "once bitten etc"
I'm more than happy with the berik ones I'm using now as they fit better and are built loads better.

At the end of the day though, only you will know if you like them and how much mileage you get from them after wearing them for a while.

Berik have very weird sizing.

If you find a cheap set online, also find a shop that stocks them so you can try them on before you buy

Dont know as I havnt tried the Arlen ness leathers out (boots are great though).

Mr VT has a set of Arlen leathers and by the looks of them has had a few years use out of them too (grey leather where the white used to be).

I've had quite a bit of Dainese stuff over the years - it tends to fit me well, most of their stuff looks really nice (admittedly they do make some odd-looking kit as well though!), and I've never had any trouble with quality, despite lots of all weather use. Haven't crashed in it (touch wood!), but seems study enough.

There are probably other brands that represent better value pound for pound, but then I tend to buy off ebay so it's not too pricey anyway
