i thought all the screens were made by only 1 or 2 manafacturers?

I brought a lcd tv from B&Q once for £300 and it had no name. It outlasted my samsung 40" i paid over £1000.

IMO i wouldent bother buying a named brand as they all do the same thing

Shhhhhhhhhhhh.............I've spent 5 years evading the child support agency. Your mum's been after my dosh for ages and if she catches up with me that'll be the end of my yatch in the caribbean. Sorry - I just couldn't live with her any more. She was soooooo ugly.

Love, dad

P.S. I see you've inherited her looks.

I have an LG 32" Plasma and im well happy with it. Like all these tv's they are great if you have a good signal, but can be a bit of a let down if the signal is poor. Some of the channels on cable are a bit rough when you watch them. When running PS3, or my Upscaling DVD, its brilliant, or watching some decent recorded programmes (Stuff made recently) then its also good.

Earlier this year...
Empire Direct goes titsup ( ex Google )
Companies come & go, but just check before handing over the loot!
Thousands were left without ordered items & precious little comeback.

Luckypants has answered the question in my other thread, so the question that brings to this one is do you want to buy a TV now if the integrated tuner will be out of date by early 2010, or would you rather wait? Depends if you'll ever use Freeview I suppose.
