priceless wife comeing home yesterday seem a plod car with just the roof and lights showing over the water line by juction 31 lol

Wem is a few miles from father-in-laws place and is a lovely little town. It has most of the shops you ever need and is very friendly. I love the cheese counter in T O Williams...
[/derail] Parked besdie the Thames in Windsor this afternoon and it was at normal levels so looks like the problems are a bit further north.

I was in Ludlow earlier today and the weirs were almost gone due to the water level.

Yep, the Severn basin will be at risk as so many tributaries were on flood warnings yesterday. Upper Severn, Vyrnwy and Clywedog all had flood warnings.

The new bridge out of Ludlow to the North will be getting a good test then! It was replaced recently after collapsing in the last big floods.
