It's got a licence plate so I guess it is already registered for road use. Daytime MOT. Won't need them - unless you are planning to ride after dark of course.

The wiring loom is from an EXC so should have the connectors, I think I still have a set of EXC indicators lying around somewhere that may well plug straight in. The switchgear is an extra bit that comes with the indicators and screws into the base of the main KTM switchgear

But tbh, it's not the kind of bike you put indicators on, and certainly not the kind of bike you want to ride round N. Wales

ETA: It comes with an EXC headlamp, the photos up there are before I fitted it

Don't need indys for a full MOT on this bike, no pillion support or pegs and it's an "off road machine" due to the nature of the suspension

Do you need to have rear pegs for an MOT? I always take them off of my bikes and I've never had any bother???

Don't think so, but the exemption from indicators applies to bikes "designed only to carry the rider" and "that are designed for use off-road by nature of their suspension or tyres"

Get a 625SMC - same engine block but much improved carb - or if you're feeling manly there's always the 660SMC, good carb *and* bored out to, well, 660cc

The 560 is a race bike, it's obnoxiously loud and shoots two foot blue flames on the overun, it has no speedo/mirrors/indicators etc so would probably attract entirely the wrong sort of attention, I always felt very conspicuous riding it, especially in the one-off paint scheme

Yeah I got the gist of what you were hinting at there Wolfie . I fancy a dual purpose bike so that I can ride it to some of our official areas for offroading around here , use it offroad and then ride it home . I lost out on a 660SMC a while back and have not spotted a nice one since ...... ie not abused to death .

Perhaps a 450/525EXC would suit better

Get a pair of supermoto wheels for road fun and keep the knobblies for off road - the little EXCs will come alive off the tarmac

Fully road legal out the box too
