Mate of mine is a locksmith, he makes some very expensive locks look very easy with a pick set made of spring steel from roadsweeper brushes.

If you're thinking about chains though I'm fairly sure most expensive padlocks aren't vulnerable to this.

one of the first things i did when i got my Abus Granit disclock and padlock was to try and pick them, lol. Very glad to say i failed cos if my amateur attempts had worked i'd have been none too pleased.

I have broken into many houses with the owners consent. You'd be surprised how small a window the average human can get through if the lock is being stubborn!

I have left my key in my bike several times...poole quay, Brighton seafornt, and still came back with the bike there

Apparently, if you can get your head in and you dont have a huge gut or extra wide hips thats all the space you need.
