Those people getting insurance quotes that seem really high to me I guess you use the comparison sites.

More than likely to be under 25, live in a high risk area, and blokes.
Stereotypical, but unfortunately theres truth in it.

YMMV, but I've always found the comparison sites to be s***e in terms of finding the best deal.

Any good names? My C90 requires protection, and my best quotes are through comparison sites.

To be honest, from my experiences and what I've heard from others, there're won't be a company who's the cheapest for everyone as a lot depends on the area you live in and a million and one other things. I found MCE to be good for me. Haven't had to claim through them so can't advise on that front. I've heard Carol Nash work out really well for some, but I found their prices a lot higher.
Pick the three cheapest companies from the comparison sites, phone them up and play them off each other, exagerating their cheap prices. I don't believe there's any quick way to find the best price for insurance.

Good luck
