Couple of flakes at about 10:30 here in the Chilterns and that was it, thankfully. We're due the worst of it this evening according to the liar on breakfast telly.

I bet the blasted schools will be shut tomorrow... They only went back today!!!!

What we need is a reliable weather system to snow like flip on a Friday evening. Toboggans and hot choccie all day Saturday, nice walk on Sunday, and it can all melt in time for work on Monday morning. As I can work from home I don't get any extra time off if the building shuts. Grumble grumble.

How come you get the best office?!

Im looking across a 100 year old sports field, at an 18th century church and have just been given some new line samples by the clerk of the works

I can see me needing new leathers by the end of this job

I hate the snow in the Uk, as round my way there's no where to ski.

Until this place is built

http://www.snoasis.co.uk/snoasis/?q=intro

Although I might be passed it by the time its completed

If I lived in the Alps or anywhere with ski lifts, I'd be quite happy.

Our snow is cold slushy stuff, which is good for snowballs, snowmen & feckin up the roads.

Alpine snow tends to be drier and more powdery, not so good for snowmen, but great for skiing
