Did this for my previous work as they needed a nominated 1st aider in the office all the time....course was pretty good, relatively easy, got to admit that I have forgotten most of it now though. No doubt someone will now tell me the best thing to do is to take the 1 day refresher course.

I can do a sucking chest wound soon as look at you but I never could get to grips with that triangular-bandage-as-sling thing

Lol Well my course started today. The first thing we were taught was bandages lol and the trianglular sling trick. Now for my next trick. Feel like Paul Daniels. Will my beautiful assistant please step forward ha ha.

D = Danger
R = Response
S = Shout for help
A = Airway
B = Breathing

The place in the recovery position

This is for an unconcious casualty.

DRSAB?

First Aid - It's no longer as easy as ABC; Airway, Breathing, Circulation. Things change grandad, roll with the punches.

H'mm its always been DR ABC with our trainers, but the D & R are small, ABC is still the fundamental principal
