Kawasaki are in a funny place at the moment, the models they have are very very good but they have a tiny range, just a handful of bikes. It's not that the bikes are bad, it's just they can't cover as much market as the others.

I'm surprised
They've got a sports 250, 600, 1000, ZZR1400 & 1400GTR , ER6n & f, Versys, Z750 & Z1000 5 different custom/cruisers a couple of road 125s & half a dozen off roaders, so I'm not sure area they don't have covered?

Suffice to say I can't think the Japs have anything significantly different and off the top of my head Triumph have the 675 in a Street, Street R & Daytona and the 1050 in a Speed Triple, Tiger & ST and they've got the Rocket III in a couple of versions that's it AFAIK

Wouldn't mind a Bonnie or Scrambler, so long as it wasn't my only bike.
