They are AFAIK hard welded then ground from stock cams, so you can use same process of pressing sprockets off and replacing with adjustable ones.

If you don't mind me asking, What kind of racing lets you tune an SV to 90+ hp? I thought the point of racing an SV type of bike would be to keep it cheap and a level playing field? If you're allowed to tune as you like, why not start out with a more powerful bike?

Lots of the lightweight superbike classes over there. Those mods would also be legal in thunderbike over here where you could be against carbed supersport bikes.

yeah to be competitive in LW superbike you need to really beef up, you are running against Buells with rediculous displacement as well as the Ducati 1000 not to mention the random Bimota and BMW that are also eligible. If you dont bring 85+ to the table you had better just stay home, and unfortnately to get the reliable bottom end you gotta spend quite a bit of money.... best guy in the region is 100+bhp... titanium frame... sick. total grenade! LOL

I also run LW grand prix which allows 250 2 strokes, and supertwins against duc 748's...

I quite like the thunderbike rules, you can either be powerful but heavy or low powered but light.
