Matt's a bit of a showoff and wants to make use of the bar he put in when he built his garage just to lift bikes. He'll probably plague the forum with pics of his posh warm, internet enabled garage with tv.

But yeah I just left a crate under mine when I was rebuilding it.

ohhh I get ya, I wa thinking more under the pillion seat where they are on the curvy.
Might be a bit of a bugger supporting that at such a steep angle, will need something like inner tube to line the cups to prevent it slipping.

Should be far enough back to raise the backend though .Yeah maybe, tbh I think when you actually get round to doing it you'll find the best place...post it up when you do though. Like I said I just get by with a trolley jack...in the cold...and dark

T1t.
One of the most dangerous things I've done was my brakes nighr before a rideout...with only a torch in the freezing cold , could have easily gone wrong!

Oh and the subframe bits I mentioned will be less steep on your k6, as they redid the later sv's to suit the short 4rses of britain.

The pointys are generally taller (as you've found) I wonder if they just cocked up and quickly lowered them as best as possible as soon as they realised.
