Carol Nash offer to price match doesn't apply to me as my renewal is £143 and as such is below their £200 threshold. Maybe I won't be using them then given they want £377 for the same level of cover.

I posted it elsewhere but I got my renewal back at just over £450 which is the same as last year.

Made sure I did no qoute online with the and have them a call. After over 30 minutes on the phone I got them down to £320 with the usual breakdown cover etc and only a £200 excess.

Got through In two rings to an English speaker too.

They cheapest elsewhere was £260 with higher excess and no breakdown, but for peace of mind went with carol Nash.

I don't want breakdown cover, as I have it through NCI which covers me for the bike and both cars for national recovery and home cover, plus in the event of an accident for £62.50. I have legal cover through them also, plus another policy from a free source for getting a bike quote, plus cover from the cars, so don't need that either. I also prefer my £350 excess to the £500 they wanted.

Cheapest I could get through a comparison site was £170, so I will be renewing with Simply Bikes (underwritten by KGM), as I've been more than happy with their customer service to date and they are by far and away the best value for me.

Try http://www.thebikeinsurer.co.uk/

there about the only price comparisson site that actualy seems to give you the cheapest quote.
When ever iv had a quote off here i find it very hard to find one that is cheaper and even if i do its normaly the same company that gave me the cheapest quote and iv just rang them up to try and get a little bit more knocked off.

I did. They couldn't come within £40 of my renewal.
