The problem with sending back an incorrect part that you have already paid for is who to say that company wont just keep that part and not return your money or send a replacement.
I know cos it happened to me, with somebody to links to the org.

I have no problem with returning the incorrect discs, what's anoying me is how unhelpful the guy I spoke to first was. And that no one seems to know what happened, they aren't even sure that the discs listed as fitting the 99-02 sv do even fit! It should have been a hours worth of tinkering to replace a worn out part, and now it's turning into a waiting game lasting god knows how long

Top marks to Wemoto it is.
I got home from a day out with my lovely family to find a set of replacement discs and a free air filter for the trouble. Can't ask more than that.

Hopefully. They look like the right size at first glance and are a different brand to ensure that there wasnt any confusion over part numbers etc. I'll be out in the garage tomorrow to make sure they do fit before I go sending anything back!

Dizzy,
The bloke I have ended up dealing with (Paul) has been spot on. He said that he would sort something out and asked what I needed. I told him I needed a filter to finish the service but I'm thinking I could have tried for something a little more glamourous, it was the first thing i thought of though as I was doing the service at the time of his call (and I'm not a graby person). I'm crossing my fingers that they are correct though as I only need to fit them, a new speedo magnate, and my new lowers and it will look as good as it did before my off last year.

Well, they were the right ones. I fitted them to the wheel this afternoon and tested them in the forks for clearance of the calipers and everything was fine. The free air filter has gone in (amazing difference between the old and new, the old looked crap next to the new one), my speedo magnate should arive tommorrow along with my new lowers. So, all being well I'll be taking it for a ride on Saturday
