Bit weird, that scumbag was the devil, hence the hatred for gene.

Certainly an interesting way to end the series. I liked a bit of the full-circle effect, with a newbie coming into Fenchurch East, just the same as Sam did and Gene delivering the exact same line as he did in the first ever episode.
Nice to see Nelson too. Basically, as I see it: Jim = Devil (tempting everyone, especially Ray with the blonde) Gene = A soul battling against said Devil Everyone else = lost souls |
