If the alternator or generator is faulty its maybe blown the electronics again ?

I will thanks, however while the bike started yesterday I checked the charging voltage with the new regrec and it was normal at idle but went down when revved to 5krpm, so although that's wrong and probably a seperate mysterious problem there were no dangerous high voltages in the bike I discovered that could be causing it to fry electronics with the new regrec!
