True, roundabout at the bottom of the road for a fast departure through to do the road in reverse :P

Can see for miles on that road, shame about the amount of T-junctions and ferrets! I managed to clip one of a buggers down there, almighty mess!

Back up to Coleshill is a nice bit of road too, there is a bridge along there with a t-junction just over the otherside quite dangerous, believe somebody was killed there recently doing a ton+

Its the one just out of the village i think you mean, i know it well, there has been countless collisons there, people coming over the hill too fast while slow people pulling out to turn right from the junction.

A guy who i knew where i grew up wrote his van off at the same place about 20 odd years ago, he pulled out on a car which hit him.

a444 is good, then up the a5 to hinckely, call in at draytoncroft motorcycles for a drink and a chat, and an ogle at the new MV's they have in there, then back home, thats a good, shortish route.

Did this little route from Midland Superbikes MH to Bikers World Dav, going via Long Itch Diner.

Not bad

Pete, I go from MSB to BW a bit too, this is the route I take though. Was the route we did when doing that advanced training thing last year. Lovely road but surface is a but rubbish in some places.

After Drayton towards Earl Shilton, then Mallory, then cut through the hamlets/villages towards the A444 is alright, Point A to B is a good bit of road too, some nice twisty bits.

Alternatively if you want a pit stop in Market Bosworth which is quite nice - http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&so...,0.222988&z=13

I could be here all day.....

Pretty much the case where ever you go these days, Lenny. Hoping the Scottish roads are better maintained.

Bit more direct, your route, but must give it a try.
