my old man mentioned something about the super dooper bird eating hornet which was making its presence felt in the uk as they're eating all the friendly british bee's apparently? David Cameron needs to step up and sort out the immigration policy like he promised

Last time I was over in France the wasps in rural areas were so big you'd run away!
They were three times the size of our wasps. Indeed the size in description but didn't quite look the same, not that I looked for long as I was heading in the opposite direction!!

Hopefully, Miss YC can confirm.

Keith.

Yeah.....Head is too wide at the back to be any kind of wasp. When we saw the first I thought it may have been some kind of non native wasp....but I didn't think that when I got close. We used to get lots of hornets bothering the horses when I was younger and I can say with absolute certainty......they were nowhere near as big as this...lol

Indeed Lily....he almost got a bl00dy hard smack for that, poor moth wasn't hurting anyone.

No, I don't like killing things, they were on the earth before us.....we just have to deal with it. Live and let live I say (unless you are going to kill me, then I'll get in first )
