My theory is just don't display anything...much less likely to have my tatty backpack robbed if I haven't pfaffed about getting things out and flashing around!

Even so, crime and stealing is going to make up a huge part of that and what a policeman does...

I always leave my huge bike kit bag with my spare Arai, wallet, phone and all sorts of other junk in the garage at trackdays, even been known to leave an unlocked Snap-On top-chest full of tools next to it too - never had a thing borrowed or nicked yet.

Dragging it all backward and forwards to the van is a PITA so it just gets dumped on the floor in the pit garage I'm in.
