The signal might happen on the other phones you mention but thew don't cost 600 quid. And that I fear is why it's such a big deal. The big boys messed up.

I wouldn't mind forking out 600 or more if the thing was perfect and it's performance justified the price but till they address that issue ill stick with a cheaper and technically more powerfull desire.
And maybe apple has better applications but that's mainly because tiew had a 2 year head start. Given time android will be on a par. |

All phones drop if held in a certain way iit just depends what kind of signal area you are in it's inevitable unless you stick the antenna on the top, jesus.
It's 500 quid for the 16gb not 600, Hope your happy with your desire anyway.

the price is only an issue if you wish to buy the handset and use it on pay as you go. otherwise it's pretty much the same as others. and I remember a few years back it used to cost £300 for the latest nokia handset with it being on a contract!
I've not had any signal issues with my phone. as had been said the phone just works. I've not spoke to anyone that's got an iPhone and not liked it! |

Iphone any day! Had the first iphone, then the 3g, and now the 3gs. The apps really are great, sometimes find myself blowing 59p for bit of fun. A few great free ones aswell.

I've sold my first generation iPhone 8GB with £176 which is £57 more than I payed for the iPhone 4. Again, it is cheaper on the long run as they really hold their value very well. Every critic out there seem to think that the iPhone is the better phone, and probably the most advanced smart phone on the market today. BUT If the Android does well what you need, then it is an excellent choice and I hope it serves you well. That's all that should matter. |

Hasn't this argument been done to death in several other threads?
The Apple fanboys will defend the company and it's products more vigourously than they would their own first born. Android fanboys will stop at nothing to put Apple down. It's getting a bit boring now. |

I have a mobile phone. It is a phone, you talk in it. Why would anyone want/need anything else?
