I'm 6'2" and was too big for the faired SV I owned as my knees didn't fit the tank correctly (I'm guessing Japanese are shorter then Europeans). Use your knees to grip the tank and your wrists will hurt less!

Hard to be certain from that picture - but it looks to be standard.
The standard seat is basically a straight line from front to back, the lowered seat has a pronounced angle in it's upper face.
