when a read it I thought the spec put closer to Thunder classes.

The only thing I've heard that is wrong with the ss in minitwins, its pretty much have to be as it left the factory

Lots of rules governing the minitwins which are developments from stock- still struggling to understand some of them now - and there are quite a few changes allowed in the series that make it interesting enough for those that want to legally tinker and run at the front.

Yes true, but the SS's chuck out around 75 bhp so a totally stock bike (un modded exhausts etc...) is needed

You can change all of the things listed in the minitwin regs then have the bike mapped to only produce 72 bhp if its over. Changing exhausts loses weight and in this case any perfomance increase over 72bhp is dialled out.

The Ducati which was running in the Minitwins at East Fortune (Melville club I assume) by far won the "nicest looking bike" competition!

Looked good with the bucket going past it too!
